American tree sparrow

Unless a bird species is always on the ground, never in flight, I usually prefer capturing them perched on a branch, not on the ground. Here, however, the little American tree sparrow looks perfect while scratching for gravel and seeds. The subtle sunlight behind her doesn't hurt, either.
