Indigo Bunting
The lovely male indigo bunting looks much different from the female...and, like the male of the northern cardinal species, is quite visible when I'm out taking pictures. This one was found in Pioneers Park in 2021, and I often could find him singing at the top of one of two trees near the bridge over the creek. I'll be sharing more photos of him (and a female, for comparison!) soon.
